Notice of Termination of DTA

Valued Drilling Training Alliance Customer,

Following a recent study, both BP and Chevron have decided to discontinue the Drilling Training Alliance (DTA) on mutually agreed terms effective December 31, 2012. While DTA has served both companies well for over 16 years, the Alliance can no longer meet the unique training demands of each company.

BP and Chevron are proud of the accomplishments of DTA. Some highlights of our accomplishments as an alliance are listed below.

• 26,500 people trained

• 55 courses developed

• 1,460 course offerings over 17 years, or 58,400 training hours

• Course offerings in 14 countries for BP and Chevron

• 160 external industry companies utilized DTA courses
